Dear Loren,
Thank you for letting me know. My prayers are with you and the whole family.
Chad was such a big part of our community. We all watched him grow up and have
seen how much love you and the Pyper family have in your hearts. I think he gave
all of us the strength and courage to face our everyday troubles. What a lucky
little guy to have had the loving family that he had here on Earth and what a
beautiful thought that he is now in Heaven with God and doesn't have to have the
earthly problems he had anymore. I get chills when you say he passed away in
Mark's arms; how perfect.
Again, my love and prayers go out to you all - God Bless,

Mark and Loren,

I am deeply sorry for your loss.  I am happy, though, that he was surrounded by so much love, that he had just enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration, and that now he is free and at peace.

You are both in my thoughts and heart.

Love,

Maria

To all the Pypers and in particular Mark, we want to share our love for you at this very difficult time. When I heard that Chad had died, Mark, I was both disheartened and lifted. I sensed how deeply you would feel the loss and yet could not imagine a better way for Chad to pass into the next world than to be lifted from the caring arms of his earthly father into the loving embrace of his Heavenly King. Relieved of the limits of his temporal existence, I am sure Chad is looking back with love and gratitude to his father, Mark, and the entire family for the generosity, loyalty and genuine affection he always received at your hands. And then I have no doubt that Chad will look ahead to the welcoming arms of his Heavenly family, inviting him to a blessed future without limits or pain. In all of this, you and he are affirmed in your knowledge that the otherwise transient connections of our finite existence are not lost, but will become infinite and exalted bonds, from eternity to eternity. If life is about love, both given and received, then the relationship that you and he had manifests this saving virtue in its most glorious light: a light whose shimmering splendor disperses the darkness and cynicism that others so frequently offer as the only solace of life. I pray that you all may be comforted by the assurance that Chad's nobility and courage continue to shine even brighter in a better place, one where he joyfully anticipates the moment when you too cross the finish line and rejoin him forever.

Mark and Sarah, I'm sorry for your loss. You were great parents to Chad. You were lucky to have Chad- and he was lucky to have you. I hope I can be half as good a parent as you. I miss seeing you guys. My prayers are with you and I extend my most sincere condolences.
